This summer while the family and I were visiting my sisters in New Jersey, we were treated one afternoon to a trip to the local farm: Alstede farms in Chester, NJ. The farm had a really fun sunflower trail and maze that was in full bloom and was included with free admission. We also indulged in pick-your-own peach trees, lots of local ice cream, and a fun little petting zoo with goats and baby sheep.
Don’t let her little pout pout face fool you, she has having the best time with all her cousins and the highlight for this flower loving girl and her mom was hands down the sunflower maze!
This summer I have been living and breathing in tennis skirts and tennis dresses and it was perfect for our trip to the farm. Summer time is too hot for jeans, yoga pants feel too frumpy, jean shorts feel too casual, sun dresses sometimes feel too over dressed. But for a day running errands and chasing children, a tennis dress is simply perfect!
(And no actual tennis is warranted if tennis is not your thing!)
