Last week we were walking through the park and I saw the sweetest field of early blooming daffodils. The first bulb flowers to show up signaling that spring is coming. Somewhere in between the winter blues and the springtime splendor, there is February daffodils. The shortest month that still packs the biggest punch. You can feel the slightest change in the air reminding us that we are closer to spring now then we were yesterday and that the dreams you wrote down and tucked away in your pocket will be here before the ink has even dried.
We got home from the park and I immediately knew I wanted to do a photo shoot with the twins in the flowers with these sweet coordinating yellow outfits I recently picked up from consignment sales. I love that they are at such a fun age but also dont mind sitting on the grass and smiling for mommy’s camera once in awhile!
(No flowers were hurt in the making of these photos, we were respectful to set up our blanket behind the main grouping of flowers where there was a walking path and the children have been taught to be very gentle and not touch.)
