It all started with a music video.
The day I saw the Fortnight music video, I knew I had to have that white dress to wear to the Eras Tour. Well, maybe not that exact dress since the Toni Maticevski Candescence gown she wore in the video was not only unavailable but well WELL above my budget. So I went on the hunt for something similar, something that was in my budget, comfortable enough to wear to a three hour long concert, and something that would give the same energy as the dress she wore in the video. After several days of searching I found this:
I was headed to Paris for night two and the first stop on the tour following the release of The Tortured Poets Department album and to my surprise, while my dress wasn’t an exact replica to the music video dress, unbeknownst to me it was even better! It ended up being a spitting image to the dress that Taylor wore on stage during the TTPD set!
When I returned from Paris, I knew that I would most likely never wear this dress again, but nonetheless I had to add the lyrics to the skirt!
Adding the Lyrics
I found the exact font that was used in Taylor’s dress and created a graphic that I was able to print on iron transfer paper in various sizes to iron onto the skirt. I did a few test runs on the inside of the dress to see how well it would transfer. It worked out well but I think a Cricuit would have made it even more flawless, to weed out all the letters individually.

And here is the graphic I used. Feel free to right click, save, and use for your TTPD dress creations!
And that’s a wrap on my Tortured Poets Department dress! Perfect for the last 15 shows of the Eras tour, a Taylor themed Halloween party, or anytime you are feeling extra poetic. xx Priscilla
