after four babies and seven years of breast feedin after four babies and seven years of breast feeding i’ve decided it’s time to get my body back in shape and to have the energy and strength needed to keep up with my boys. so i’m doing it the old fashioned way: pilates, weight training, and a little hope and a prayer. i am trying hard to not let the early morning rainy weather and blistering cold temperatures stop my motivation. but having a cute gym outfit weirdly inspires me to get moving. today i wore a blue ballerina skort because i am still in my Dancing Through Life era and if any of these dudes decide to drop their barbell and break out into song, you know i’ll be ready. comment “gym fit” below and i’ll send you the link to this skirt! 🏋🏼🎾💪🏀👟

one year i took a pregnancy test on New Year’s E one year i took a pregnancy test on New Year’s Eve and it was negative. the next year i was actively miscarrying our second ivf baby as the ball was dropping in times square. and every year before that and for so many years, my only wish was for him. i would spend every night dreaming of a beautiful baby boy just to wake up another day, another year older without him. it’s easy to feel like the universe has forgotten about you. that everyone else is moving on and you are just… waiting. but even if your baby isn’t in your arms right now, or all grown up under a table with you, laughing and eating grapes, remember that a lot can happen in a year. the universe is listening so never stop wishing and dreaming. ✨ #ivfbaby #infertilitysupport #infertilitysucks #infertileaf
it’s been over a month since we rented a cabin i it’s been over a month since we rented a cabin in the woods and the kids still ask every week when can we go back to “our mountain house.” it was a quick getaway for our family filled with hot tub swimming, hour long hiking, bear sightings, and s’mores roasting but it made such a lasting impact in their minds. each morning the boys would go outside and walk in the woods and collect sticks for the fire while Olive and i would watch out the tall living room windows drinking tea and hot chocolate and giggling about everything and anything. and i would tell her, just as i do everyday, how wonderfully perfect and special she is because i am a true believer that children need to hear these things as much as possible. one tiny girl in pigtails and me, sitting in the woods, breaking the generational trauma of motherhood. 🤍 comment “mountain cabin” and i will share the link to this amazing airbnb! #cabininthewoods #highlandsnc

in may i left on a girls trip, flying over an ocea in may i left on a girls trip, flying over an ocean and leaving my family and my babies for the first time ever. then three months later i did it all over again. i was a nervous wreck leading up to my departure but as soon as i got home i realized how important it is as a mother to put my oxygen mask on first. to take care of my mental health for once. and to having a loving husband who encourages me to do so. i live and breathe for those four children and i relish every moment of it. but doing something that was just for me hasn’t really happened in over eight years. so here’s to 2024. the year of mom. the year me and my best girls bolted. the year we dressed up in over the top dresses and laughed and sung and danced like no one watching because in that moment it was exactly what we needed. here’s to finding some moments in 2025 to do it all over again! 🤍 #2024recap #thebolter #tstheerastour #europeanvacation #momsofinsta #swiftietag
