i designed a new shirt honoring my two favorite things at the moment: working out at the gym and listening to soul crushing taylor swift lyrics. it’s very humbling recording yourself singing at the gym, 10/10 would not recommend. but everyone seemed busy doing their own thing so i think i can regain some gym dignity. this shirt is now live in my shop! it’s a sweat proof, moisture wicking tee in a range of sizes. so you can literally wear while you’re down bad sweating at the gym. comment “Down Bad” below and i’ll send you the link! 💪🏼

this is the definition of peak girlhood ✨🩷🌸 she couldn’t believe her eyes, continuously dancing and twirling and shouting “it’s beautiful!” “i can’t believe it mama!” “it’s the best, so great, flowers everywhere!” now don’t mistake it, my boys were also in awe of the flowers but in more of an empathetic way, giving a quick “wow” then rushing off to climb the nearby oak trees. but that sparkle in her eye and the way her laughter got caught in the breeze, its as if she belonged to the sun and she knew that each and every petal opened up this morning just for her. #girlhood #saucermagnolia #charlestonbloomwatch

i was supposed to have a baby on Leap Day. and despite my family’s unconvincing words that it would make an “excellent birthday,” i didn’t want my first baby to have a holiday birthday. but the universe loves to laugh in my face and Liam arrived three weeks early, breaking my water in the middle of a dinner party providing me a dramatic Hollywood birth story, and instead he came into this world on Valentine’s Day, completely cementing that day as my most favorite day of my entire life. three years later, we were set to have another baby boy, but this time our due date was Presidents’ Day. another holiday birthday. but my silly little breech baby landed me in the hospital early, once again on Valentine’s Day. two Valentines brothers exactly three years apart.

somedays i am consumed with emotion as i truly cannot believe these two boys exist. Liam at age nine is so inquisitive, has a fierce competitive edge, and is the most determined, high achieving boy i have ever met. Bear is at the age i would like to freeze forever. he just dances through life as if he’s starring in a musical that he wrote just for me. and if you’ve ever shared a laugh with him, you know it truly feels like medicine. my two favorite Valentine’s Day gifts: the one that made me a mother and the one that showed me how easy it is to fall in love all over again. 🩷 #birthdayboys #liamandbear
