I have entered my “tennis mom” era and am leaning hard into the tennis core style both on and off the court. The tennis core aesthetic has become very popular right now. Think pleated mini skirts with oversized sweatshirts paired with loafers or slides. And now with pickle ball becoming very trendy, it has also become very trendy as part of activewear and every day street wear, just like the biker short craze of the ’90s.
I was so excited to be invited to the Credit One Charleston Open this year and I paired my go-to pleated white tennis skirt with my favorite Reformation tank top and this new retro tennis sweatshirt that I threw over the shoulders once the sun came out.
