I am back at it once again and excited to share THREE new templates for you to use for Valentine’s Day Cards. Download for free, print at home, and use for your own little Valentine!
You may remember last week I shared my Taylor Swift Eras Tour cards and I was so happy with the responses that many of you loved it and are planning to use it. I made them “for Olive” but we all know these are really for me. So to follow up I made a second card for Olive that perfectly fits her at the current moment, a card for my Dino-loving Ziggy, and one more card for my Nintendo obsessed big boys Bear and Liam who, lucky for me, both wanted the same cards this year.
BALLERINA: For Olive, I made these beautiful ballerina cards to pass out to her friends at ballet class, complete with a new scrunchie hair tie. I picked up the hair ties from the dollar store but any standard sized hair scrunchie will work and you can get all pink or mix and match your scrunchie prints. I cut two small slits into the side of the cards right at the level of skirt so the scrunchie can sit into the card without sliding off.
DINOSAUR: We once again have another dino loving child in our house and it is so fun to get to re-live the toys and trends from years past with my older boys. Ziggy is in a 2 year old class so I didnt want to pass out candy so these cards are perfect to add a little toy dinosaur that you can attach with a touch of hot glue or use adhesive glue dots for an even easier placement and removal. You can get these from your local dollar store or I like these from Amazon.
SUPER MARIO BROTHERS: Despite my better judgment my older two boys have become big fans of the Nintendo Switch and this year was also the release of the new Super Mario Brothers. So they both suggested I make a Super Mario card. I designed this one with Bear in mind and once Liam saw it, he wanted the same one! This card would be great all on its own. Or take it up a notch a poke a small hole just above Mario’s closed fist and pull through a DumDum pop or lollipop. Add a small piece of tape on the back side to secure it and you are all set!
You really don’t need many supplies to make this happen. Some simple cardstock paper will do the trick and you can print from your home printer. I like to use a paper cutter to get a smooth straight cut but a pair of scissors will also do just fine.
FREE PRINTABLE TEMPLATES:
Below are the JPEG templates. Simply right click and save to your desktop computer or tablet and print full screen on 8×10 cardstock paper. There is still a little extra white edge after printing that you can simply cut off with scissors or a paper cutter.
