It is that time of year again when I let the little crafty voice in my head whisper “you are not a busy working mom, you have time to do this, and how much fun will it be to make the cards instead of buying them?”
The voice always wins.
All jokes aside, I do love making the kids’ Valentine’s day cards from scratch. And each year I try to pick themes that are current to their lives and what they enjoy for that specific age. We have done Minecraft, Lego, Hot Wheels, little teddy bears for Bear, dinosaurs for Liam, and this year I knew I had to throw in an Era’s Tour card. Olive is a little too young to fully understand valentines day cards so I actually made her a different card (further details on that one soon) and let’s face it, I really made these cards for my own enjoyment. But I know so many of you have little Swifties at home so I am happy to share the free printable template with you today!
You can keep this as simple or as complicated as you want. In true preschool fashion, Olive knocked over the box of beads because she had to “do it myself” and Ziggy got a hold of the scissors and practiced cutting the cards himself which left much to be desired. But otherwise it is really easy to print, cut, and write your child’s name to the cards. You can stop there or attach a friendship bracelet and you’e done without ever leaving your house.
You really don’t need many supplies to make this happen. Some simple cardstock paper will do the trick and you can print from your home printer. I like to use a paper cutter to get a smooth straight cut but a pair of scissors will also do just fine. And for the final touch I included a friendship bracelet to each card because nothing screams “Eras Tour” like exchanging bracelets with your friends. I cut one small slit on each side of the card for the bracelet to “sit into” and not fall off. You can make your own bracelets with each students name if you are feeling extra or buy something like this set of premade bracelets would also be great. I also like the idea of taping a lollipop on top for younger kids or anyone you feel wouldn’t like a bracelet. Other ideas include Taylor Swift stickers or little mini mirror balls, toy snakes, the ideas are endless!
Here is the JPEG template. Simply right click and save to your phone or desktop and print full screen on 8×10 cardstock paper. I had the time of my life making these cards for you! I hope you enjoy them!

Hi there! I’m not seeing the printable link (or it’s not enabled?). Appreciate any help!
Thanks for sharing your creativity!
