I had no idea the amount of endorphins I would get from wearing a matching outfit with my little Olive. For the past few weeks she has been asking to wear “a pretty dress” when she sees me getting dressed in the mornings and so naturally I have to oblige to her requests. We have a few matching mommy-and-me dresses and her eyes just light up when she realizes we are wearing the same outfit. No one tells you about this side effect of having a daughter but I am so happy to be a part of it and relishing any chance I get to be ridiculous about it.
