I usually try to avoid trendy fast fashion. But when it comes to traveling, especially a long international trip, I am always so hesitant to pack all my best dresses and pieces for fear that my luggage will get lost in an airline abyss. So before every big trip, I buy a few not-so-expensive items to wear. The way some of my nicer dresses can stay safe at home and then selfishly I get to have new clothes to wear on vacation.
So for our upcoming trip to France, I found a few items for me and the kids from Amazon. Amazon Fashion can be hit or miss. Luckily they do have some great name brands like Free People, Faithfully the Brand, Lost + Wander, and many others. But many of the other items are shipped from China with a price tag of $24. And there is usually a reason why it is priced that low. But not all are created equal. So read the reviews really closely and check out the real life photos people post in the review section so you have a better idea of what you are getting. Also I make sure it has free returns (most prime items do) and then I order multiple sizes and return what doesn’t work. I have found some real gems this way!
Here are a few items I picked up for our upcoming trip:
En Saison floral maxi skirt // blue paper bag shorts // baby boy green shirt short set // white skater shoes // baby boy blue bubble // girl floral layered romper // blue maxi dress // lavender roller rabbit dress // baby blue sandals // work out shorts // yellow floral baby bubble // baby girl sandals
