This weekend it got really cold in Charleston. Okay, so it got down into the low 50s and 40s. But for Charleston standards, that is cold! After two days of being cooped up at home watching all 823 Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, we decided it was time to venture outside. And it was in that moment I realized my kids and I are seriously lacking when it comes to warm clothing.
I try to avoid fast fashion as much as possible. I instead fill my wardrobe with timeless pieces that are well made and I can wear over and over again. I try to do the same for the kids and Will too. However every so often, I will go to H&M for some pieces for the family that they can play and make a mess it and can easily be thrown in the wash while also being easy on my wallet. And out of all of the fast fashion companies out there, I do think H&M is one of the few that is doing their part to be more sustainable.
