This weekend it got really cold in Charleston. Okay, so it got down into the low 50s and 40s. But for Charleston standards, that is cold! After two days of being cooped up at home watching all 823 Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, we decided it was time to venture outside. And it was in that moment I realized my kids and I are seriously lacking when it comes to warm clothing.

I try to avoid fast fashion as much as possible. I instead fill my wardrobe with timeless pieces that are well made and I can wear over and over again. I try to do the same for the kids and Will too. However every so often, I will go to H&M for some pieces for the family that they can play and make a mess it and can easily be thrown in the wash while also being easy on my wallet. And out of all of the fast fashion companies out there, I do think H&M is one of the few that is doing their part to be more sustainable.

Here are some cozy warm pieces I picked up over the weeknd:

This blue heart sweater for Olive is so darling (and matching stripes for Ziggy) and can be paired with any of these soft cotton jersey pants. I love when the pants have the feet attached because keeping shoes and socks on 9 month olds is next to impossible most days! But speaking of socks, although I am not usually a pink girl I could not pass on these pink bow socks. This light beige sweater set is great because it could work for either boy or girl so I picked up one for the twins. For Bear I had to pick up this cute bear sweater in size 3T. The rainbow stripe sweater I bought in two sizes: 3T for Bear and 6 for Liam. There are 9 different color options and at $12 you could really grab a few if you needed. Since we really need layering pieces, I also picked up this three pack of henleys for the boys to have for underneath their sweaters. And lastly, because I am a sucker for all things blue, this chunky blue knit sweater for mama!
