There is this unnecessary assumption that boys wear blue and girls wear pink. And every time I pause to shop online, this stereotype continues to be reinforced.
But if I am being honest, I have never cared much for the color pink. Blue, on the other hand, is one of my favorites. It brings me joy and when it comes to shopping for clothes I find blue to be timeless and classy. So now that I have the honor of shopping for a baby girl, it is no exception that I have been leaning into all things shades of blue.
Here are a few blue pieces I have found for baby girl in a variety of styles and price ranges:

I have also been lucky to find some fun vintage dresses at our local thrift shop. With my odds, baby girl may end up being a “pants only” little girl and she will refuse to wear these. And if that’s her decision that is fine, I will just hang them in my closet and stare longingly at them before passing them on to friends and family.
