for those of you wanting to know more about the book, waiting on the universe is basically an edited version of notes and poems i wrote throughout years of infertility exploring the emotions of desire for a child, deep sorrow and grief from miscarriage, and unwavering hopefulness and optimism during the most difficult times.
as i read through the book the other night i became emotional remembering how it felt to write these pages knowing that somewhere out there right now are women (and men) who feel the exact same way that i did. my hope is that this book can bring some comfort to those people or to anyone who may need it.
